Google acquire Feedburner

Google acquire Feedburner I’m sure many of you will have heard of the news that Google has bought Feedburner – is this good or bad news for the blogger?

For the majority of us we’ll not notice a great deal of difference, unless they start to change the services that Feedburner currently offers – I can see more interaction with Google Analysis, which I think would be a great idea.

For bloggers using Blogger, I can see improved RSS, because let’s be honest, the current ATOM XML type feeds currently on offer doesn’t do anything to enable you to track your blog RSS stats, and some applications have had problems reading Blogger RSS feeds.

What is your opinion on Google’s latest transaction?
