Blogged Out | Blog Promotion & Marketing Tips

Whilst I don’t recommend that you log on to Yahoo Answers and spam them to death, but you can actually use this service to your benefit. They are thousands of people leaving questions every week, and if your blog fits within one of the niche’s that is covered, you could make yourself into an expert in your niche.

When answering a question, if you’ve written a blog post that answers there question, or would be useful to them, then leave a link. Don’t link to your blog in every question you answer, only to posts that answers their question. As regular readers will be aware, my main blog is Travel related, so I answer a lot of questions on the Travel section – occasionally, if a post I have written answers there question, then I’ll link it to my reply on Yahoo Answers.

Community members frown upon spam and advertising, and you’ll be quickly banned, so along as your being helpful then you’ll be fine.
