Write a Press Release to Promote Your Blog
If done correctly, writing and distributing a press release can be invaluable in the promotion of your blog or business. I have failed miserably at writing and distributing press releases in the past, and have submitted to sites like PR Web with very little success.

Thanks for the post Darren. Getting media attention makes so much sense because by selling one reporter they do the work of selling thousands of others on your blog and ideas. I now end up doing a PR for my site almost every week and to help others we created a tool to help bloggers build their own PR.
