Mathieu from Radaron.com introduced an interesting concept where travel blogs create a ‘t-list’ and add their favourite blogs on to a list created by Mathieu. My travel blog Technorati rating was 39,337 prior to the launch of the t-list, as of today, the ranking has increased to 27,505 and I can only put this down to the extra 30+ blog links that the list generated, over the past 10 days.
I’ve never really spent much time assessing my Technorati ranking and I’ve yet to see any substantial traffic coming from the site, so it got me wondering what all the fuss is about. I do think people spend too much time analysing their ranking, and I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on Technorati and from anyone who can highlight the advantages of being ranked high, other than for bragging rights.

Indeed a fuss and mania perhaps, but what intrigues me is the avalange of Blogs that have T-List (travel and tourisme blog) content……

I too am surprised how quickly t-list spread, it will settle down in time, but Mathieu did a great job in getting peoples blogs noticed so I have to congratulate him on that.
Next time we need to get the t-list as one of the 10 top most searches on Technorati.
Actually, the fact that everyone gets something in return (links from other websites) motivates them to participate.
To motivate people, I think that have to see the importunities for them. ; )
