Blogged Out | Blog Promotion & Marketing Tips

I’ve visited a few blogs tonight that simply have too much advertising on them, and the content is swamped by Google Adsense, Amazon, and affiliate banners. I have tried to keep advertising to a minimum but I must admit it’s difficult to say no to a company who wants to advertise – but in the past month I have turned away two companies who wanted to advertise on my travel blog.

I read blogs regularly and if the content is wrapped in Google Adsense ads, then I don’t even bother trying to read the blog and move on to another. I suspect that most internet surfers have wised up to tricks to get them to click the ads and will do the same.
