Fun ways to promote your blog
I read an interesting blog post written by Darren Rowse, of Problogger.net about how to be a good guest blogger. Basically, you write a blog article and ask another blogger if he/she will use it on their blog. It helps both parties because the blogger gets free, unique content and you get a platform to promote yourself to new readers.
Another good idea is to contact someone who is recognised within your field and ask them if they would be interested in being interviewed. Send them a few questions and publish the answers on your blog. This gives your readers something interesting to read and it’ll help promote the interviewee and you’ll find other blogs will link to this interview.
