Don’t forget those old fashioned Marketing Techniques
Webmasters nowadays tend to concentrate on search engine optimisation, and forget about those old marketing techniques which actually do still work.
In November, whilst I was walking around an exhibition I handed out business cards to exhibitors, and two months later, I am still getting exhibitors contacting me about advertising.
Make your business card attractive to the eye, and feature your name, job title, business name, telephone number, web and email addresses. It’s natural for us take business cards, and shove them in our wallet, to get them out a few weeks later and read them.
I had my business cards designed by the very talented Mark at Eagle Imagery, and then printed for £16 at Jam Jar Print and I have paid for them four of five times over due to companies advertising on my blog. Just goes to show that traditional techniques do still work.
