Will you Upgrade to Windows Vista?

Will you Upgrade to Windows Vista? With the release of Windows Vista on schedule for it’s European launch in January, it made me wonder how many of you will upgrade to Vista.

I’ve been waiting all year to buy a new computer due to performance issues, so I’ll be glad when it is finally launched. Will you be buying a new computer or upgrading to Vista?

If you are upgrading, will you wait a few months for the bugs to be ironed out or will you jump straight in there. I’m quite excited about the new operating system, it looks great – but we’ll have to see how it performs.

I will stick with Windows XP, not other reasons but money.

I’ll either buy an XP system last minute to avoid Vista for as long as possible, or will get rid of Windows all together. Vista requires too much hardware. Maybe in a year when the required hardware is priced more reasonably, maybe then I’ll consider Vista for the things Windows is needed for…

I’m in the market for a new laptop but I will be sticking with XP machines. I’m hoping to get a Mac before everyone is “required” to upgrade to Vista in order to get support.
