I’ve received a few emails informing me that they are new to WordPress and that they don’t know what the RSS feed address is on their WordPress powered blog. Thinking back, I had the same problem because unless you read through all of the support pages on WordPress, it’s difficult to find out – it is simple though.
Just add /feed at the end of your web address, i.e. www.blogged-out.com/feed or www.yourdomain.com/blog/feed depending where the blog actually sits on your domain name. You can then add a link through to this RSS feed on your blog either as a text link or by using an RSS icon
Then submit your RSS feed to the large number of RSS directories available, write unique interesting content, and you never know who might pick up your RSS feed and publish it – on other blog, the RSS feed was picked up by the media and one blog entry last month received 2,000 page views.
RSS is a useful way of getting back links.Tweet
