PR7 Free Blog Search Resource
I spend quite a lot of time on webmaster forums, looking to take away advice or ideas to promote my blogs, and one discussion that is always high on the list of topics is blog directories and blog search engines, which are good ways to drive traffic to your blog and help with search engine optimisation.
Some of you who are into search engine optimisation will already know Loren Baker, as the man behind the Search Engine Journal and Umdum Directory, but he is also the creator of the Blog Search Engine, and whilst it’s not the most attractive site he runs, for blog promotion, it must be on your list of sites to submit your blog to.
I’ve found that very few people mention this blog resource, either because they don’t want their competitors to find out about it because of it’s high Google Page Rank, or because they haven’t been successful in getting their blog listed.
Well, you now know about it – so go and register and submit your blog, but make sure you write an entry that isn’t spammy but useful to blog searchers.
