Using YouTube to Promote Your Blog
I’m going to provide you with a promotion tip that when you’ve finished reading it, you’ll all be thinking “Ahhhhhhh - why didn’t I think of that!” I love youtube.com, and whilst I am not as addicted as I am to blogging, I realised last week how the site had helped me promote my blog.
Here’s what you do:
1. Visit youtube.com
2. Search for a video based around your blog content
3. You add the video on to your blog
4. You leave a comment on youtube.com that you have used the video
5. The video owner, tells everyone that you have used their video
Before you can say ‘you tube’ you have tons of visitors reading your blog for the very first time. Okay, this is not always going to happen, but it did for me, and luckily the video was recorded by a large motorbike forum owner who told members on his forum that I had promoted his video.
Then came the hoard of visitors to my blog!
